Environmental protection requires engaged citizens, voting and raising concerns with public officials. We are too young to vote, so we focus on intergenerational action. We paired with senior citizens to mail thousands of “Get Out the Vote” postcards, with information on voter registration and election times. We also responded to the shortage of election judges (with many seniors staying away due to the pandemic); I trained and served as an election judge, and recruited others.
